Despite all the fuss, most of which are legitimate concerns, over privacy and its lack of existence when it comes to Google users, I think Google fundamentally believes in making people’s lives easier.

I’m not opposed to the idea that Google is out to take over the world and its monopoly may do more harm than good in the long run, but I also believe that despite all that, the company does want to make life easier, and it has already done so with its myriad of products and services, many of which are being used daily by billions of people around the world, including myself.

This site was born around 2013 with my intention to write about Google and its products/services. I love tech and I love writing, and I’ve always worked to combine both of them in one way or another. I wanted to do the following for this site when I started it:

  • Cover the latest news from all corners (services) of Google
  • Tutorial and step-by-step guides on using various Google services
  • The lastest addition to any Google service that might benefit you
  • Opinion and analysis on all things Google

I’ve covered various news and wrote a few how-tos and feature stories over the years, but since 2016, it has mostly been inactive. I was looking back at this site one fine morning in late March 2019, and I felt nostalgic for not continuing what I had started.

So, I decided to restart the site with a new design, new focus, and new efforts to do what I had set out to do all those years ago.

In the age of videos, I don’t know if there will still be people reading written content. But we writers mostly write for ourselves, and I wanted to continue the tradition. I do hope that you’ll like the coverage and content on the site and would appreciate your feedback on the work.
